- Use of quotes
- Use of bullet points and/or numbered lists
- Section headlines
- Short paragraphs
- Narrow paragraphs
- Use of pictures and/ or video
- Leave white space

Leaving white space step-by-step formula:
- Keep paragraphs between 1-3 sentences. (Prefer 1-2 sentences on my blog post and 3-4 sentences for articles)
- Paragraphs with multiple sentences keep sentences short.
- Put long sentences in their own paragraph by themselves.
- Keep paragraphs (posting column) narrow. I recommend 500-600 pixels. (This blog uses a 520 pixel posting column)
- Double space between paragraphs, pictures, and videos.

I implement most, if not all, your listed ideas. You are on your way to a great blog. I use colors (in the writing) as well, and a ‘call-to-action’ at the end of each blog post.

Pictures help paint a picture of the message you’re trying to convey and videos without saying much is 10x more powerful.
